January 2017 Minutes


BOARD:  Max Roe   Betty Shaw   Sharon Eichmann

MGMT:  Larry Edwards, Susan Keene

HOMEOWNERS:  Veronica Coleman, Loma Chan

The Country Village Board met on Monday, January 9, 2017.  The November Annual Meeting Minutes were approved by the Board and will be posted on the website.  The September-December financial reports will also be posted online.

NEW BUSINESS:              

The election of officers for the new Board will be postponed until the entire Board is present.  If a Board member cannot be present at the February meeting for this election, he/she will be contacted by phone for a vote.

Larry Edwards told the Board that this winter deck replacement will be ongoing.  Buildings that are scheduled for painting will also be a priority.

The Board requested letters be sent to the following homeowners:
·      7940 Sunfield…The dog at this unit is either running loose or tied to a tree in the front yard barking constantly.
·      3046 Valley Farms…Homeowners are tying their dog to a tree and allowing it to cause property damage.

Administrators at the Harrison have informed the Board that the February meeting will be the last time for a meeting for a while.  Due to ongoing construction at the Harrison, the Board will have to find an alternate site.  Members will check the fire station, iHop, and MCL for meeting rooms.

COUNTRY VILLAGE HOMEOWNERS ASSOCIATION
Annual Meeting Minutes
November 14, 2016


The annual meeting of the Country Village Homeowners Association was called to order at 7:04 by presiding President Max Roe.

No quorum was established by attendees and or by proxy forms, therefore no ballots will be needed.  Betty Shaw will remain on the board for another term.  The budget distributed with the proxy form will be the 2017 budget.   And lastly, the HOA monthly maintenance fee will increase to $160.00 per month effective January 1, 2017

Max Roe ask for the reading of the Minutes from the November 2015 Annual Meeting.  Minutes were read by Secretary, Jane Stevenson and accepted by homeowners present.

Max then called for John Hedge to review the current expenses through October 2016.  Mr. Hedge discussed the expenses as well as receivables.  Financials were approved by members present.

Floor was opened for discussion.  Several questions were asked regarding any past due accounts.  These were discussed while maintaining confidentiality.  It was stated that several had been submitted to the attorney for collections. 

Following the discussions, the meeting was adjourned.
